Reading Lists
Selected readings from my PhD program in history.
In the spirit of sharing, I've organized my PhD readings into public lists that cover orals prep for my major field in U.S. history and minors in Digital Humanities and Gender, Society & Law.
Death in Diorama
In the 1940s, Frances Glessner Lee, a Chicago heiress, built the Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death, composite crime scene models recreated on a one-inch-to-one-foot scale.
This digital project illuminates the Nutshells and their place in the history of forensic science.
